Church Announcement about Sabbath, April 4

Dear Auburn Church Family,

Each week brings new changes in the requirements for the Shelter in Place orders.  We now are under orders to stay at home with the exception of a few essential exemptions.  Church gatherings are not among the exemptions, although I could give a good argument that they are essential!  However, the Chief of Police for the city of Auburn has given us permission to have a small team come to the church and provide the live-streaming program as we have been doing.  Therefore, we encourage the online worship experience as a preference for our members at this time.  Worship at the church will remain active only for the personnel who are presenting the scaled-back Tiny Tots Sabbath School, Adult Sabbath School, and Worship Hour live-streaming experience.

The online, live-streaming will start with the adult Sabbath School at 9:30 AM and will continue through to the end of the worship service.  Tiny Tots Sabbath School will run from 9:45 AM to 10:30 AM.  For further information about the Tiny Tots program, contact Bonnie Alley.

You may mail tithes and offerings to Wilmer Snyder’s home address, 187 Red Bud Road, Jefferson, GA 30549.  Those who contribute through online banking may continue to do so.

Please Note:  The leaders of the Georgia-Cumberland Conference Prayer Ministry have set aside this coming Sabbath, April 4, as a Day of Prayer and Fasting for God’s help in this time of need.  It will take place on the Georgia-Cumberland Conference Prayer Ministry telephone line from 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM.  Here is the information:
