Kindergarten Goat Mission Project

Yes, you read that correctly. Auburn’s delightful kindergarten class is excited and highly motivated about their Goat Project. Each week the students have an opportunity to earn $1.00.

$0.25 – for being on time for Sabbath School
$0.25 – for studying their Sabbath School lesson
$0.25 – for knowing their memory verse
$0.25 – for bringing their Bible to class

At the end of the SS quarter, their quarters are totaled and they pay tithe. The remaining money they may keep. Last quarter all of the students donated all their money (less their tithe) to the goat mission project.

The children would like to get two goats for $250.00 and a pen for $50.00 for a total of $300.00. The students raised $13.00 last quarter towards their goal. To be part of this mission project by matching or donating to the project, please mark your tithe envelope Goat Mission Project. Goats are very valuable in foreign countries as they provide nutrition with their milk and the manure is used to fertilize crops and vegetables.

Hats and Scarves for Auburn Elementary

It is that time of the year when we start making hats and scarves for the Auburn Elementary School. For those of you who crochet and knit and would like to make some hats and scarves for the children, I’m sure they would appreciate it very much.
