10 Days of Prayer 2020

“After this prayer, the meeting place shook, and they were all filled with the Holy Sprit. Then they preached the word of God with boldness.”

Acts 4:31, NLT

The theme is Seeking God’s Spirit. Please pray for the Holy Spirit to fill your life as we seek Him during these 10 days of prayer.

Prayer Meeting – Wednesday, January 8, 7:00 pm

This evening will be the start of 10-days of Prayer.
Topic: Our Need of the Holy Spirit.

“Since this is the means by which we are to receive power, why do we not hunger and thirst for the gift of the Spirit? Why do we not talk of it, pray for it, and preach concerning it? The Lord is more willing to give the Holy Spirit to those who serve Him than parents are to give good gifts to their children. For the daily baptism of the Spirit every worker should offer his petition to God”

Ellen White, The Acts of the Apostles, p. 50

Sabbath, Jan 11 at 4:30 pm

Elder Mark Poitrowski, Conference Prayer Ministries Director, will be leading out for our 4th Day of Prayer.

Sabbath, Jan 18 at 4:30 pm

To celebrate the conclusion of the 10-days of prayer for 2020, the elite choir of Southern Adventist University will perform at Auburn at 4:30 pm, Jan 18th.  You and your congregation are heartily invited. This would be an excellent event to invite your co-workers, neighbors, and/or family members to enjoy. Below is a note from the conductor.

I Cantori  is one of three choirs within the School of Music at Southern Adventist University. The ensemble includes students from across the USA and abroad who are pursuing degrees in a wide variety of disciplines. Each member believes that great music has the power to inspire singers and listeners to love and serve their Creator.
