Update: On Sabbath, December 4 following the worship service, we will be packaging the hats and scarves for Auburn Elementary School. If you are making hats/scarves please bring them to the church by December 4. On that day we will need a few volunteers to help with the packaging so if you would like to help, meet in the junior room right after church. Thank you.
Cold weather is coming and that means it’s time to start thinking about pulling out the warmer clothes, hats, and jackets. As a church, for the past several years we’ve donated many knit hats for the children that do not have these things to wear. If there are those of you who like to crochet or knit and want to make some hats or scarves for the children, it will be greatly appreciated. We try to deliver these items in early December so the children can have them during the colder part of the year.
