Jeff Westberg

Pastor Jeff Westberg has served the Auburn Seventh-day Adventist Church since December 2011.  Previously, he and his wife Karen functioned as the pastoral couple for two multi-church districts in the panhandle of Florida for ten years.  Before serving God, Jeff served our country as an officer in the United States Air Force for over 20 years.   He holds a BS degree in Psychology, MS in Counseling, and has accumulated 40 semester hours of post-masters academic work in the fields of marriage counseling and theology.

Pastor Jeff became a Christian while attending Montana State University in Bozeman, MT.  Through intense Bible study, he learned God’s Sabbath day is our Saturday, but he didn’t know about the Seventh-day Adventist Church until he and Karen attended a prophecy seminar while stationed at Charleston AFB in 1993.  They became baptized members of the Adventist Church that fall.  Within four years God closed down his military career and open the doors which lead to he and Karen serving in God’s Army.   Jeff and Karen have two adult children: one recently graduated from Southern Adventist University (SAU) who married her college sweetheart, and a son still attending SAU.
